I recently returned from Georgia, where I was saved for eighteen months. believes or not, but in only three weeks I felt sick at home really missing Georgian and especially fabulous long firm that we almost every week with my Georgian friends. So I have some web research to treat myself. the timing could not have been better, as one of my dear friends had birthday in the following week and I strongly suggested to pay a visit to tamada. I have taken an initiative to order for everyone, told my friends that the Georgian food is sharing everything. frankly, weeping seemed a bit expensive, but again the london. Impressed. I am a frequent visitor in Georgia and have found the quality of the food that I had a little stained in london's various Georgian restaurants in the course of the years. a last Saturday lunch in tamada was definitiw one of the best Georgian meals I had in london. the restaurant was more or less empty than we arrived, but filled enough to create an uplift, but not so much that the speed of the service, has suffered a common critique of Georgian restaurants. like other valued Georgian foods to notice remains a secret for most people in Britain, so that the menu to understand and build a balanced meal can be difficult for first timers. remember that most Georgian dishes are shared in the rule...read more
A bit hard to find, but eating is quite good and in contrast to everything they find. a unique tasty bite when they are ready to hunt for him.
Cultural freedom!. Once she put her foot in tamada, they are transported in Georgia everything looks, smells and tastes like in Georgia. eating is the best they can have in and outside of Georgia, without exaggeration. the owner of the restaurant, tamara lordkipanidse, makes them feel like home, coworkers make them feel that they pay a visit to a friend and not just a customer in a restaurant. it is almost a cultural experience my daughter has milk and ice allergies and does not eat even lightly spicy foods. the owner himself consulted us about what the best for them to have and advise their employees in preparing food. they really went out of their way to accommodate us!...read more
Delicious and Healthy. My every visit at Tamada starts with a glass of red wine (Saperavi) and only then I start considering what to order this time. Since I have tried almost every dish they have on their menu, the choice is not easy because I love almost every single dish, but I also know that it would not be wise to order too much. The servings are big enough and really filling. But if you have a family or friends accompanying you than I would recommend to get a variety of dishes and then to share them for richer Georgian food experience. For starters my absolute favourites are: Badrijani (walnut staffed aubergines), Ispanaki (steamed spinach balls with herbs and walnuts) and...read more
