This is a fantastic pub for Sunday roasts. I had one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and respectful—I can't praise the team enough. The roast was exceptional, and the vegetables truly stole the show. The cauliflower cheese was among the best I've ever tasted, and the buttery cauliflower and carrots were absolutely divine. Omg thinks that this is the best place for frying dinner, as Angus-Rind had with vegetables and they were wow. soft and perfect. it would be highly recommended to have sunday roast here. definitiw will come back with family and friends.
A very pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff and good beer. A great venue just east of mile end station. Another visit another day, post Brexit and hopefully post plague, a great place for a drink and /or eat depending on your wants. Lovely staff as always. Always worth a visit!
Really nice place with a good outside area. Although it worth having an inside seat for the lovely interiors. Beers are more of a higher price compare to other pubs with an average price closer to £6
Family and pet friendly pub with decent food. The triple cooked fries were probably the best fries I've ever had. Prices seemed a bit steep though but overall worth the visit if you're looking for a relaxed laid back local pub
Had a lovely time at here. We booked inside as it was too hot outside. Really glad we did as there is not a lot of shade outside !! we were greeted with a warm welcome on arrival, shown to our table we actually got to choose ourselves . Drinks ordered by another friendly staff member and shown the menus. On such a hot day we didn't want a main meal and thought we would graze on starters. Boy what a great idea! I can heartily recommend pork and black pudding sausage roll, chorizo scotch egg, triple cooked chips and the warm camonbear forgive my spelling . The food and accompanying service was wonderful. In fact the food was so good I didn't have time to take photos as it was demolished in minutes. 3 of us spent an afternoon there with wine and spirits in an unhurried environment totally stuffed and well watered for £30/head well worth it. I took pictures of the menu as the only thing left :
