Soho Sky Terrace [previously Toy Roof] At Courthouse

When we arrived for our 1pm booking, we were told to wait 20 minutes as they were not ready/set up. There were maintenance workers still working when we were allowed in at 1:20pm. Cushions were old and ripped, food was overpriced for the amount served, and the cocktail glasses were plastic! A shame this is all negative as the venue has a lot of potential and great location.

I hate writing negative reviews but this place needs to improve in all areas. I don’t know how you can mess up avocado on toast but it was awful. Service was moody. One girl just walked over with a card machine held it out for us to tap and never said a word! It started to rain and honestly seemed like the staff would have been happy to leave us sitting in uncovered seats under rain. To pay nearly £100 for two people for that it’s laughable. If you read the reviews and still go the joke is on you.

The service is terrible took two hours to get some chips then only one bowl came. Had to keep asking when it was going to come. Half our orders never arrived. Shisha is amazing and the shisha guy is really helpful. The music and atmosphere is really good so it’s such a shame that the service lets it down so badly. I have to say it’s probably the worst service I’ve ever had so I would suggest eating before you arrive.

Bouncer was very unnecessarily aggressive when we were leaving

Lovely view. Their rose house wine was dreadful however... we were also rushed to leave (we had a booking from 6:30pm to 8:30) and the waitress took our glasses and hash tray at 8:27... good experience overall
