a beautiful little place from the main street, it looks more like they would come to lunch on the day. the food was delicious, freshly cooked and large in portions. had a cocktail bit disappointed at the price for the size and taste, and one of the starter elements was not available. the personal was friendly and attentive View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Scarpetta Bishopsgate:
The service was decent, but the restaurant was very busy and clearly understaffed. They fit too many people into the space. The man with the dark beard was quite handsome. The atmosphere felt cramped, and the lack of coat hooks meant we ended up sitting under a pile of jackets. However, the food was good. View all feedback.
This was gorgeous. Quite a casual yet elevated setting and service style. The pasta was delicious. Best focaccia I’ve ever had. It’s a very nice in-between of more commercial Italian and authentic flavour profile. It doesn’t take itself too seriously
Great food and service small menu but pasta was delicious
I LOVE the pasta here! It is handmade and so delicious. An outstanding restaurant choice for lunch or dinner close to the office. Highly recommend the Nutella gnocchi for dessert as well!
The pasta was caned sauce tasted like, waiter arrange everyone sitting next to each other when where is plenty of space
Service: one inattentive lady (I think she might have been new but why would she be alone serving whole place by herself than). Food: I like al dente pasta but it was borderline uncooked I was struggling to digest the pasta for the rest of the night As per my partner: this place is not approved by an Italian Picture: Ate for starter bruschetta with Nduja (liked it) and lamb arrosticini (nothing special but dry and no spices) Didn’t take pic of pasta but both the arrabbiata and zucchini gamberi paccheri pasta undercook, barely any flavour, would probably get better pasta dish at Tesco Total cost for two starter, two mains and water: around 53 pounds
