A wonderful discovery for dinner before heading to the theater! We both savored delightful fresh pasta dishes that were beautifully presented and packed with excellent flavors. The vegetable side dishes were impressive as well. The desserts were also a treat. The front-of-house staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive. We will certainly be back! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about San Carlo Regent Street:
This restaurant is clearly overrated. I ordered the burrata with tomatoes, and the burrata was unremarkable while the tomatoes were overripe. Next, I tried the tagliolini with black truffles; the pasta was slightly overcooked, and there were only three truffles on the plate. Overall, the service was average. Luigi our waiter made the experience , I proposed to my girlfriend and the restaurant was very accommodating and made it unique and the food was 10/10 Would highly recommend
Definitely need improvement for food, service and hospitality
One of our favorites when in London. We had the salt encrusted sea bass and it was outstanding. They have a grilled option but have the salt encrusted. The flavor is enhanced. Very flexible menu with choices for anyone I your party. We had a group of 10 earlier in the week and no one was disappointed. The wines are excellent. We had an early dinner before seeing Phantom and it was excellent and convenient. The staff is very helpful and charming. WE make it a point to visit every time we are in London.
Great service and delicious food. And at fair prices. The veal and the pasta were standouts. Also, delicious desserts. I loved it. Will come back soon.
Food was just OK, apart from my main course, which was really good.
