Many found the food to be average or even poor, with slow and below par service. However, others praised the welcoming staff and great ambiance. The menu has expanded post-pandemic, offering good ingredients and a variety of options. Despite some shortcomings, many customers feel at home at PJ'S, appreciating the exceptional service and delicious food. Overall, while there are some areas for improvement, the restaurant continues to attract regular visitors who enjoy the experience.
Amazing food, great location, friendly staff We really enjoy our dinner. We celebrate a friend's birthday in an amazing atmosphere. We'll be back soon
Reliable well with a wide selection of brasserie food as well as Sunday roasts. Wine list somewhat short and limited. You could do with more choice and a few good cheaper bottles. But the ambience is good when a bit loud with the electric cocktail mixer makes a little noise. Food is very good as service. I've been on and off for decades.
Great English pub atmosphere with good food and service. Appropriately expensive.
I liked PJs and dinned there twice a week. In the last few weeks it started to slide, I gave myself back the net twice. It is winter and the heating is not on.
The staff was very friendly welcoming. However the food was disappointing. I ordered an avocado toast with seeds and poached egg as an extra. Without the menu mentioning it, it came spicy ????, small in size and the seeds tasted old and rancid. In addition I ordered a San Marzano tomato saltale with onions. It only had three thin slices of San Marzano. Other tomatoes where cherry tomatoes. Also I noticed that they remove the salt from the table pretty quickly once you use it (do they have not enough?! . the ambience was lovely but for my experience my food was disappointing.
