What Colin Robinson doesn't like about Piccolino Heddon Street:
I was taken here for dinner, as it wouldn't have been my choice, but I thought it would be great quality considering that everything looked absolutely overpriced and I picked a pretty safe dish, salmon pasta. I was so wrong! The pasta looked terrible, but I hoped it would at least taste nice. It didn't. It was the worst pasta dish ever, with very little salmon and some random bitter vegetables in the mix. Epic decor, music and atmosphere. The food was also delicious. Only a slight downfall was quite cool and service a little lacked. Maybe they were a bit understaffed, but we had to wait a long time to be served and pay at the end. As soon as we arrived the food quickly and the waiters were nice as we could get their attention! This restaurant is a bit too catered to tourists for my taste. I would prefer it if they focused more on offering authentic cuisine.
The restaurant was nicely decorated, prices were competitive and the staff were attentive and warm.
The restaurant is too expensive and the food is bland. Additionally, a 12.5% tip is automatically included in your bill.
Great restaurant for Ramen, with a great atmosphere and service.
The interior is tired, menus natty. Service and food were good though, and a tad cheaper than in most similar restaurants in central London.
