Contribute FeedbackOliver's Fish n Chips boasts a charming location and a cozy atmosphere, making it a popular spot for traditional fish and chips in London. While some diners were disappointed by the lack of taste in the fish and questioned the service quality, others raved about the delicious, crispy fish and chips, particularly the gluten-free options available on Wednesdays. The portions were described as generous, and the staff was praised for being friendly and attentive. Overall, Oliver's Fish n Chips is recommended for those seeking a classic fish and chips experience, with special mention for those with dietary restrictions such as gluten intolerance. Make sure to reserve a table in advance due to the restaurant's small seating area and popularity.
The place itself looks good, but the fish was completely without taste, like nothing literally eat. the witness has no idea what they do and waits 15 minutes for someone who takes our teller in the event where they have 5 tables, is not really something I understand. and 12.5% service fee for what they get here is not really appropriate. there are much better places to visit for classic fishing and chips than this!
When we came by, oliver seemed like a nice restaurant to stop and grab a bite. the personal was nice and the service was decent. the meal was at the end overpriced for what we were served and the food was much too fritted. also another of my pet peeves is when a restaurant adds a service fee. I understand that with big groups, but if there are only two of us, that's ridiculous. 12.5% is less than what I usually give, but I have no more than what it adds to the simple principle behind it. as I said, the personal was nice, but that was the absolute minimum. as you can see, this evaluation is no longer about eating.
O preço primeiro me assotou, mas então valeu a pena! o peixe tão traditional
Our bartender was great. Great knowledge and great cocktails. We never sat without a drink. It's a great caesperian.
We came to Oliver's mainly for my GFF (Gluten Free Friend) as they have a separate fryer for this option, plus every week they change their oil so we decided to visit on this particular day. Even though it is advertised as being in Belsize Park, Chalk Farm station is just a 10 minute walk away and I would make this journey again and again if I could.
