My only complaint is that I always request for an extra hot drink and they consistently provide me with a drink that is everything BUT hot. During this process, Barista #3 got mixed up with the non-dairy requests from customers before and after me, resulting in my traditional order with real milk be... read more During this process, Barista #3 got mixed up with the non-dairy requests from customers before and after me, resulting in my traditional order with real milk being served last. Great. I couldn’t help but point out, “That’s a ‘dead’ shot.” Barista #2 looked confused and asked, “Sorry, what?” I explained, “That’s a ‘dead’ espresso shot because it has been sitting out on the counter for almost two minutes—no crema.” The three baristas were left bewildered. After a brief pause, Barista #2 called me rude, dumped the foamy milk into the espresso cup (which made it look like a bowl of Nesquik), and shot me a glare with her big brown eyes. I reevaluated my life choices, thanked them, and left in a hurry, like instant coffee. P.S. These baristas could definitely use some retraining, preferably by Tristan Stephenson. Take note!
