a wonderfully unique culinary experience, a great menu with a variety of exquisite Japanese dishes. exceptionally good service and lots of care to explain the whole menu, suggestions to give and make sure we were well looked after. very expensive, but they don't really get the same experience anywhere else. not a big fan of the place. didn’t really have an ambience…maybe i’ve gotten used to all the neon lighting and flower walls at these other emerging eateries. the food was good but portions were minuscule and for me not very good value for money. extravagant dining at extravagant prices. only go if it’s a special occasion. we enjoyed the drinks but they cost a tenner each despite having no alcohol in them! Wow. Delicious top quality food. Stunningly presented and every mouthful was delicious. Bit pricey so will be a one off for me. But was definitely worth it for the experience. Some of the best food ive tasted.
Fantastic Asian cuisine and novel drinks! Excellent menu options. Delicious sushi offerings, which are fresh and well prepared. Be sure to make reservations in advance, restaurant was crowded on a week nite! On the pricey side but worth the splurge!
Food is amazing but the decor is awful here. Tbh I was expecting much more high standards for this brand. It was my first time here and I enjoyed food so much it was delicious you can feel every bit of taste.
Great food and experience although it is missing the extra finesse that I'd expect of such an establishment. I had the soft shell crab roll which was one of the best I have ever had. The black cod miso dish was a standout for me and the dressing was exquisite. I did find however the service was a tad slow and food was sent out without thought and therefore out of sync with my fellow diners. As a result it was hard to start eating when others were still waiting for their main or their side of rice. This meant some food went cold.
Good food, we tried the omakase menu, it was smaller then expected. 6 courses including an overdone chocolate fondant. The service was decent but they should spend some money on sound proofing. We were a party of 6 but we were unable to hear anyone that wasn't sitting right next to us.
