Beautiful ambience, not too busy or loud, so it was perfect for a Saturday birthday dinner for my mother in law with our 8-year old and baby in tow. Eating was just not amazing. Service was friendly, but pretty slow.

Great afternoon tea and service! Scones were lovely and the cakes were fantastic. Service was great and very attentive. Would absolutely go again!

It certainly is a hidden spot. My party of six is very happy with the restaurant. The food is lovely. Location is great. The staff who lead us to our table is very welcoming. He took our order nicely but came back telling four of us no scallops. It will be better if the chefs can give him a head up. It was quite a big gap between starters and mains. We were fine with that as it’s a good time to chat. One of the staff was a bit aggressive when she told us to leave. “We want to go home as we need to start again tomorrow at 8am.” I know we were there till quite late but the way she said it was rude actually. To be honest, it would have been better if we were told like 10-15 mins ahead. Another staff is so kind and polite who opened the door and said goodnight to us. It is a shame that not all the staffs are like him. Anyway, I will go back there again.

Well sheltered from the rain for outdoor eating . Friendly service and a very good Sunday roast . Set back from the road opposite the common so peaceful setting.

This restaurant is set back from the road enough to be very peaceful, there are really lovely staff, very good service and also very reasonably priced. The food was really tasty and nicely-presented.
