Very enjoyable humble home cooked food. I grew up with this style of cooking from my nana when I was young growing up in South London to North African grandparents. Delicious tagines, merguez which is full of flavour. The owner/chef/waiter is a one man army that delivers high quality exceptional food. Be patient and you’ll be satisfied. No corkage fee which is very rare to come by, so you can bring you’re own wine/be... View all feedback.
What Umar Ahsan doesn't like about Moorish Lounge:
Went with friends. Had Lamb Chicken Tagine. Food was 4/5 but the behaviour of staff was 2/5. A bit rude offensive. Tagine was fine. Would recommend only if you can bear the rudeness. View all feedback.
Really lovely place delicious food and lovely little setting. You do have to book ahead as they don't always open if they've not got bookings, but its definitely worth planning ahead by a few hours!
I recently visited Moorish and had an excellent experience. The food was delicious, with a variety of flavorful dishes that exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening. They also offer shisha, which added a unique and enjoyable touch to the night. Highly recommend this spot for great food, ambiance, and shisha!
Great quality food and the worker is extremely kind.
Booked here for a birthday meal, and the owner was kind enough to accommodate us. The food was delicious, and service was without fault. We ordered a lamb tagine and a chicken couscous dish, and everything came promptly, with a friendly smile. Would definitely come back again.
Food was freshly made but I think needed a bit more salt.
