Was here to eat with my parents. this place we begin with is rugged. but the food they offer was really amazing. had papadams, huh tikka masala , hariyali huhn tikka , garlauch naan , simple rice and dal tadka. that was worth the money.
Though cramped up, bit this place gives you what you want.. An Indian flavoured food !! Ofcourse I cannot expect an authentic Indian spiced up food , but this place fulfils the expectations to great extent. This place is located in a convenient location near Greenwhich park. On the ambience front , it was OK Average, with cramped up seating arrangement. About food , I would say it was tasty , though bit bland from Indian standards, but thats OK. Overall , it was a good experience.
I've been to Moguls once before as our good friends live just around the corner. And I had a great meal here on Saturday! It's a very small restaurant so booking ahead is advisable. The staff are great and it's a lovely little cosy place. We were celebrating a friends engagement and were given a little alcove to ourselves The food here is always very good. The Lamb Sag and Sag Paneer are always very good can you tell I have a thing for spinach! This saturday my husband and I did our usual half n half (lucky I'm married to a sharer After popadoms we went straight in for the main event. On the recommendation of our friends we ordered the Murgh Jalfrezi and Acharia Gosht. The Jalfrezi...read more
Truly shocking. Having been regulars of this takeaway for quite some time it pains me to write this review. The quality of the food has declined of late and we have complained about the high price low portion size of some of the dishes particularly the king prawns. However last night was the final straw. The box of curry arrived and it looked as if the driver had been in a crash every container had burst and the contents of the containers was all in the box. My daughter is a veggie and all the dishes were mixed together it was disgusting. Plus no poppadoms and dips. We rang straight away and they said nibble on it we will cook you another order. The bits we did try were vile and my...read more
Don't bother. Gave it a try as it was a chanmge from my regular. Took two bites and threw it in the bin and went back to my usual to spend another £15 Sauce: bland. Meat: Tough. Poppadums: Bendy! Don't eat here. You will get substandard microwave meals you can buy from Tesco for a tenth of the price I was shocked Went back to the regular Indian and got good service (that I didn't get at Mogul) and great food This is the McDonalds of Indians however the standard is so low saying that is an insult to McDonalds.
