Great food, iffy service. Like previous comments, loved the food, but the service is unique. Quail, soft shell crab, Pho all lovely. Green papaya salad with dried beef tasty but small. 4 of us ate for £25 a head, starter each plus a couple to share and a couple of beers each. Would I go back Yes View all feedback.
What Cam McIntyre doesn't like about Mien Tay:
Exceptionally quick service and delicious food. The free prawn crackers was a nice touch. My one disappointment was that I found the rice pancake a bit tough to eat, but all the rest of the food was great. Lots of vegan options. Highly recommend. View all feedback.
Eating was super oily. tofu and sweet in noodles were literally unusable. also early roll were bad. the worst I ever had. very disappointed. I added the pictures to support this.
Excellent value for money. delicious Vietnamese cuisine, fresh and aromatic. the vermicelli noodles with pork were as good as any I ever had and the service was very efficient. great place for fast eating
Hailing from sydney, I am a little pampered as fresh, cheap, authentic (I am always a little hesitant to use this word, as what constitutes the authenticity Vietnamese cuisine is everywhere. not so much in london. to the happiness I am now in the knowledge that there is one in walking distance. boom!

Good food ignore decor!. Great food, speedily brought. One thing to note it is cash only payment though so come armed with about to cover a meal and drink more if you are hungry. There is a nearby cash point to nip to though. Really enjoyed our meal and don't be put off by decor.
