Such incredible cuisine Profound flavours and luscious textures. I hadn’t tried Ethiopian food before and I’ve been MISSING OUT Light yet complex, fresh with heat and spice the stews are gorgeous and you scoop them up with my new favourite thing: injera the flexible, light, sourdough pancake. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the prices are so reasonable. Get involved View all feedback.
What TafrinaD doesn't like about Mesi's Kitchen:
Food was delicious. I had booked a table for my birthday quite a way in advance but when we arrived it was as though they were not expecting us. We had to wait a fair while for a table and then the food took a very long time to come BUT when it did all was forgiven. Don't be in a rush when you are eating here...very delicious food but slow service. Staff are nice and friendly I will eat here again. View all feedback.
Best experience, because what comes here is an experience. from the beautiful waitress (I accept the son) to the food and the coffee ceremony everything was a blessing. Thank you and we will surely come back to this place.
Great food and great atmosphere. the service was also top notch. two nights in succession with family friend (first time to test Ethiopian food) and both paintings were a wonderful experience with delicious food! the best Ethiopian restaurant around
Mesi herself is a joy. Nothing but bright smiles the minute you walk in the door. I had never tried Ethiopian food before Mesi, but she opened my eyes! Very comfortable place with great menu options. I love the (if i can spell it correctly... ye messir wot and get it as a side every time. I love bringing new people here just to see them fall in love with Ethiopian food as well!
Love this place! The veggie/vegan sharing plates are so good (and I'm not a veggie). My only complaint last time was that they didn't stop me eating... there should be a rule like in pubs were they stop serving if you're too drunk...I was way too full :D
Lovely restaurant and lovely service. Came here with my family and had the mesi combo sharing platter. Tasteful selection, tasty food, and generous portions. The Ethiopian coffee, too, was gorgeous a must try. Will definitely be coming back!
