The food was exceptional in both taste and quality. We started with the potato cake topped with chana masala and lamb chops. The kadai lamb and the South Indian railway curry were also excellent, and the keema naan was truly outstanding. This restaurant offers authentic Indian dishes that have been prepared to perfection, setting them apart from the typical fare you might find elsewhere. As we were leaving, we notice... Unfortunately, the portion sizes didn’t match the prices. We ordered a mixed meat platter for £18.50, and what we received was just one piece of meat and a few bits on a plate—not what I expected. View all feedback.
Eating was very good. the restaurant has many parking spaces and is well lit in the opposite to some dark restaurants. a little expensive, but if it's a few of them, it can be reasonable.
Excellent food, good menu selection and very good service. Very spacious inside and plenty of parking, worth the drive if you're not local to Lougton
We were a large group, who had booked weeks in advance. The food was good, but the service was incredibly slow. It took an hour to receive our starters after ordering, and another hour and a half after ordering mains (why weren't both orders taken at the same time? to receive our mains. It was a Saturday early evening. Our party arrived at 1730 and left at 2115. Way too long to wait as we had somewhere else to go to afterwards. We felt that the staff were just trying to encourage us to buy more drinks whilst we waited. Nothing wrong with attentive staff, but nearly 4 hours to finish our meal was unacceptable. The restaurant was not very busy, and to see other tables eat and leave before us was frustrating. The food was good, staff polite and friendly, but the experience let down by the slow service. First time Id been there and I will not return or recommend.
The food was excellent but the service was slow bearing in mind when we arrived it was empty. We thought it was pricey.
The restaurant is a real find with authentic food served at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.
