The overall experience at the restaurant was a mixed bag. While some diners found the atmosphere underwhelming and the service lacking, others enjoyed a pleasant evening with delicious food and friendly staff. The long wait times between courses were a common issue for dissatisfied customers. Despite this, the quality of the food received positive feedback, particularly the starters and Fiorentina steak. Overall, it seems the restaurant offers a hit-or-miss experience, with some customers willing to return for the great value and tasty dishes.
Overpriced, if you go, order just meat. Rest is not worthy.
This visit has not been up to scratch. The food was almost as good as usual. Almost. However the atmosphere created by the boxes in front of the counter and some kind of chaos created by different things scattered, it was not what you would expect to see from Macellaio. There was also an alarm or something loudly beeping every few minutes. All together it did not give a relaxing atmosphere int he restaurant. We will probably wait few months before coming back
Had a lovely dinner with two friends. Service was so friendly, genuine and helpful. Food was delicious and great value loved the tataki. Delicious and well priced Primitivo. Homely interior that makes you feel like you are somewhere else.
