While some diners found the atmosphere underwhelming and the service lacking, others enjoyed a pleasant evening with delicious food and friendly staff. The long wait times between courses were a common issue for dissatisfied customers. Despite this, the quality of the food received positive feedback, particularly the starters and Fiorentina steak. Overall, it seems the restaurant offers a hit-or-miss experience, with some customers willing to return for the great value and tasty dishes.
Love the Fiorentina and the lard bruschetta.Service was attentive. The basil panna cotta its always a mist when you go to Macellaio

The wait between courses was a big problem as this was meant to be a quick bite. Plans had to be cancelled etc. There was a mix up with our order too, maybe part of the reason for the delay, but a burger and lamb stake are a quick couple of dishes.The food was ‘ok’, maybe we should have had the steak as recommended by a friend
