Le Caprice never lets me down. The staff at the bar and the restaurant are top notch. They have been able to survive all these years because they actually are good, and so is the food. View all feedback.
What Chris doesn't like about Le Caprice London:
Met a friend for dinner here. It is hardly outstanding food but well presented, tasty and not massively overpriced considering its location. £170 for 2.5 courses including a decent bottle of wine and sparkling water. The atmosphere was vibrant by the time we left, having started early when it was comparatively quiet. Recommended. View all feedback.
Normally difficult to get a table at short notice but we virtually had the whole restaurant to ourselves at 7 pm on a Thursday. This was due to local hotel occupancy rates being severely depressed and people working from home due to Covid 19. This empty, there was atmosphere lacking but service excellent. Good choice of all courses and I particularly enjoyed the octopus starter. Grilled cod main course cooked to perfection with large moist flakes of fish. Crime brûlée with rhubarb and coffee to finish. A good choice of wines but the markup is excessive.

Not good- thought it would be more upscale. Food wasn’t even good for value
Always lovely. Monday night and surprisingly quiet. Disappointed with the ceviche and sashimi too much soy and fish cut by an amateur. Fish and chips though was awesome. Staff attentive at times and slow at others.
