Contribute FeedbackOverall, the reviews for afternoon tea at the Royal Lancaster Hotel are mixed. While some guests were disappointed with the quality of the food, service, and ambience, others praised the attentive staff, delicious food, and pleasant experience. Issues with incorrect orders and long wait times were noted, but exceptional service from servers like Jules and Kenneth were highlighted. The hotel's location was convenient and the portions were generous, making it a potentially good choice for a high-class tea experience at an affordable price. Despite some downsides, many guests would consider returning for another visit.
I would not go back to this hotel for afternoon tea and I wouldn't recommend it to a friend, unfortunately. My friend and I were let down. The scones were good, but we were shocked to find a piece of tissue paper in one of the sandwiches.
High Tea is a must when visiting London for the first time.
I am definitely staying at the Royal Lancaster London againWe were here literally days before they completed construction on the main entrance.
The Lancaster London hotel is somewhat deceiving. Upon arrival, you are greeted with a building that resembles a 70s office block.
I would not return this hotel to this hotel for the afternoon and would not recommend this hotel to a friend. my friend and I were disappointed. the scones were nice, but we found a break of fabric paper in a sandwich!
