What Ashley Wilson doesn't like about Laksha Bay:
Good value, friendly staff, efficient service. Bit of confusion as was asked 3 times by different staff if I had booked a table. Think there were other online bookings so adding to confusion. Despite over ordering as usual we managed to eat everything. The prawn Hara Mirchi was lovely and the Peshwari nan light and fluffy. Good take away service with free delivery locally. Delicious food. Didn 't deliver poppadoms as ordered and paid for, we called to let them know they were seriously rude and made a comment along the lines of 'so did the poppadoms fall out of the bag on the way from the restaurant. Very agressive, which is a shame as the food was really good. View all feedback.

A slightly about average takeaway curry house that we got delivery from.
I ordered from here through Deliveroo, and it was surprisingly badI tried the seekh kebab and chicken tikka; both were the worst I've had in London.

read moreLaksha Bay on Wapping Lane offers good value, efficient service, and friendly staff. Despite some initial confusion with table bookings, the food was delicious with highlights such as the prawn Hara Mirchi and the Peshwari nan. The restaurant has a quiet and cozy ambiance with a great selection of dishes that are fresh and well-spiced. Although social distancing was lacking on one visit, the overall experience was positive with excellent food and helpful staff. Customers appreciated the smaller menu, which allowed for a focus on quality dishes. Overall, Laksha Bay is highly recommended for those looking for authentic and delicious Indian cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere.
