I made a reservation at the Barbican before a concert, which is conveniently close. Unfortunately, our booking coincided with a large party of 51 people that arrived before us, causing our food to take 25 minutes to arrive after we placed our order. While I have no complaints about the fish and chips—they were excellent—the delay took away some of the charm of our visit. View all feedback.
We decided to come here as two families meeting up for dinner before going to the theatre. Fish and chips all round and it was awesome. We were so well looked after by Bobbi. Thanks so much for a great time. We’ll be back when next in the neighbourhood. Great food for all the family.
Eight of our family ate at Kennedy's Whitecross Street today as part of my husband's birthday surprise.Wow ,what a great place. The food was delicious and plentiful and when Peter found out it was my husband's birthday he produced a pudding with candle for him and all sang happy birthday .My husband was very surprised and it finished off the meal so well.Such a lovely thing to do.We thought the restaurant was very good value and the food of a high standard. When we are next in that part of London we will return , and will recommend Kennedy's to our friends.A special thanks to Peter and his lovely lady co-worker who looked after us so well.
Quirky fun traditional chippy that serves great homemade pies and sweets. Had pre Theatre meal it's was fantastic would highly recommend it.
Visited Kennedy's on a friday night. I had cod and chips with mushy peas which was very good. My mum had the grilled skate wing, which was very bland as the sauce is only poured over rather than it being cooked in it. The restuarnat wasn't overally busy but quite hard to catach the waitress' eye. It is quite loud in there, especially with large groups of men.
I went for lunch and sat upstairs. The staff were friendly, quick and efficient. The table was clean and good with a view onto the busy Whitecross St. I ate cod, chips and mushy peas, which was very tasty, filling and great value.
