Contribute FeedbackOverall, the restaurant offers a mix of experiences. Positive reviews highlight attentive staff, great ambiance, excellent food, and personalized service. However, negative feedback includes long wait times, uncomfortable seating, lack of information on wines, and issues with food allergies. The venue is praised for its wine selection, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff. It is recommended as a good spot for a light lunch or evening drink. Reservations are necessary due to limited space. While the food quality is generally good, portion sizes and pricing may be off-putting to some customers.
Popped in here for a quick drink I with a friend before our trainn to the airport. Had the burrata and halloumi chips along with a glass of bubbles. It was all delicious and the service was so friendly. Would definitely return
Dangerous and appalling lack of care! Avoid at all costs if you have food allergies!!!I booked to take my family to dinner and as my son has severe food allergies we asked the waitress to confirm that all of the dishes we had ordered were free from sesame. She checked with the chef and confirmed that there was no sesame in any of the dishes. After mouthfuls my sons throat started to swell and he felt very unwell. After more questions to the chef the acting manager finally confirmed that one of the main ingredients for the dish was sesame. We had to call an ambulance as my son continued to get worse and he needed to be taken to AE where he was treated overnight! This was a very scary experience and one that should never have happened if the chefstaff had followed the basic and simple procedures that should, by law, have been in place
Table for we were initially given was a plank on a box, no room between tables, and my guest had bags with no where to put them, beware. Luckily there were tables free downstairs. The food was ok, could do with being hotter. The wine was great and service lovely
The waiting staff were absolutely lovely. Very attentive, polite and generally really nice. The wines were very expensive, very little below per bottle.Food was tapasstyle, and it was OK nothing particularly outstanding, just OK. But the portions were very small and therefore rather expensive too
This is a really nice venue close to Liverpool St. A relaxed ambience and professional, knowledgeable and personable staff who know their wine and are happy to recommend from the extended collection of bottles based on what you do or don't like.Sharing plates are decent if unspectacular but you'd primarily come hear to have some nibbles with your wine it's about the wine
