Hot May Pot Pot - London

The portions are extremely small and overpriced at this restaurant. The hot pot was also dangerous as it could easily tip over. I left hungry after my first and last visit.

The service was excellent and the food was of good quality, but the prices were too high for the portion sizes. The special sauce was not particularly impressive.

This is my first visit to this restaurant. The menu is very small. Some of the staff is knowledgeable and efficient but some are not! We got one wrong dish and had another dish thrown away after being taken away to put into a smaller plate. However we did get a complimentary new one. Decorations is not very classy, especially given its location. The table setting needs more thought as there was hardly room for the individual hot pots and the dishes. The hot pots get in the way a bit and I had to stand up a few times to reach the dishes. The seafood is fresh and of good quality but the stock base for the hot pot was bland. The meal was very expensive for what it was and condiments were all at extra cost. Not sure if I’ll be going there again.

Such beautiful food!! Exceptional quality seafood, fish, meat and vegetables. The owner and all the staff are SO lovely very welcoming, helpful, and warm. I would really recommend coming here. The low stars for atmosphere were because we were the only people there at lunchtime but I think this is because the restaurant is so new and hasn 't yet been 'discovered '. Come here before it is!

The food is excellent, but it's not something you would have on a daily basis. It's a great option for special occasions, even though it's not the best value for money.
