Some highlight the must-have Baklava and delicious mixed grills, while others criticize the bland wraps and poorly executed Lebanese dishes. The ambiance is described as cozy and vibrant, with friendly staff and efficient service. The Khanafah is praised as a standout dessert, worth the wait. Overall, the restaurant seems to offer a variety of veggie and vegan options, with generous portions and reasonable prices, making it a popular spot for locals and tourists alike.
I ordered mixed grill plates that come with hummus tabouleh. phone requested additional spies from kababab. he said there is an additional fee for this, I accepted. for restaurant hiba express. I asked if he would add the spee, he said sourse! I paid with additional order for additional skewer left only to find out I received the standard 3 skewer mix grill! no additional request for skewer paid! also taste of tabouleh is nothing of neither libanesen nor palaesiser or anything where close to levant! this is the kababab. not best quality and taste of levant place!
The veggie options are satisfying grilled halloumi, falafel, kartoffeln and hummus are all really delicious and fill! the service is fast. I always come back because of the authentic near east.
Eat and friendly staff. the place is quite tight. getting the Lebanese taste after london is quite hard, but they tried their best.
Ordered delivery with bumblebees: first the fries were soggy and oily and disgusting. also ordered vegetarian platter (including hommous, warak enab, loubye bzet, falafel, tabboule,) the taste was terrible. I'm Lebanese and I know how Lebanese food should taste. that was nothing near. falafel, warak enab and hommous were disgusting. I mean, how can you fail a hmmous? the most basic. would not recommend it again or order.
The Baklava here is a MUST-HAVE. Do not miss it. Having said that, I'll move on to the food. We ordered chicken and lamb shawarma wraps (regular sized) and they were quite filling. However, we felt that they held back on the spices and so the wraps tasted bland. Ask for chilli dip if you feel the same. The Baklava made up for the wraps so I'm giving it 3 stars. We get way better wraps at Kati Roll Company near Oxford Street.
