Food was delicious. We were sat outside as weather was great. Very quick service. We have had the green tea also after the meal and really enjoyed the whole lunch. We also had some spinach with garlic , brocoli and some of the dumplings which I forgot to take photo as we started eating as soon we were served. Excellent time and planning to go back. Had an ingenious eating here in the fairytale and just booked for tomorrow night. top food x
Really nice place, with friendly service and great food.
The food was ok but wasn’t great. It was way overpriced for the quality of the food and service. The service was absolutely awful. The waiter was constantly watching us and checking whether we have finished the food on our table. Soon after we almost finished our food, the waiter asked us twice whether we had finished eating. When we finished our food and were drinking tea, the waiter asked us again for 2 more times whether we have finished eating in just 5 minutes. It was extremely rude. I have personally never experienced such poor service at any restaurant in the UK. We were extremely mad but were forced to pay 10% service fee for their poor service. We only stayed there for less than 1 hour but we ordered 10 dishes, so we weren’t eating slowly. We thought there was a huge crowd waiting outside so the waiter wanted us to leave asap. However, when we walked outside of the restaurant, we were shocked to find out NO ONE was waiting for a table. There were even empty tables at the restaurant. I’m not sure why the waiter was so impatient and kept pressuring us to leave as soon as we almost finished the last dish. We ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT recommend this place. If you want to go there, be prepared you will be pressured to leave as soon as you almost finish your food.
Not many chinese restaurants do congee in china town hence really glad that i can find one in this cold weather. As per other comments/reviews, service charge seems to be mandatory where some other restaurants are optional so need to be aware if you are not a big fan of service charge. The dumplings are generally larger in size compare to other restaurants along the road hence walked out with a full warm tummy statistified. Taking one star off from overall as they have forgotten my tap water...............
I give this restaurant 4 stars because i find roasted duck, crispy pork, Ha gau and Siu mai are the best once i tasted in China town London.
