What a wonderful little family place in London! I don't expect to find these kinds of chippies near the centre of town but the customer services was great, delicious fish and chips and having just moved into the area, I'll be coming back again and again. View all feedback.
What Ken Harris doesn't like about Grove Fish Bar:
Disgusting customer service. The man serving was very rude and gave me the wrong change accusing me of lying (in the end after about half an hour of arguing he finally gave me the correct change owed). As well as that I was told to shut up and get out of the area and my burger bun was burnt. I don't know if the server was new but he didn't seem to know what he was doing with terrible customer service. Wouldn't even g... View all feedback.
The Chip shop at The Grove Fish Bar is exceptional. The food is outstanding and the service is fantastic. I ordered a donner kebab with chips and a halloumi burger with chips. The chips were not your average chips; they were golden brown on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside, with a buttery taste and a crispy roast coating. They were full of flavor and incredibly moreish. The halloumi burger was delicious, with fresh salad that made us want to order more for later. This is more than just chips, this is The Grove Fish Bar chips. I highly recommend trying this place, as I traveled from Oxford just to get them. It reminded me of the quality chips chip shops used to serve when the owners truly cared about their customers. I hope this business thrives and everyone gets to experience the best chips in the world. You guys are amazing.
The restaurant is clean, offers quality food, and service is swift. I highly recommend it. The fish and chips are fresh. It has a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, and is popular with everyone.
My family recently dined at this restaurant and we were extremely disappointed with our experience. The Cod was mushy and unpleasantly spongy, making it inedible. We regret spending £79 here and wish we had ordered Chinese food instead. We will not be returning in the future.
Excellent fish and chips. Also had a quarter pounder from here recently which I’ll definitely be coming back for
Went for my lunch break spent £6 on a regular kebab meat and chips. Just to find hair in my food and for it to give me an extreme bellyache I would avoid going to this place.
