Contribute FeedbackThe Harvey Nichols 5th Floor Bar offers an afternoon tea experience that falls short of expectations, with a noisy and casual ambience that is not suited for such an occasion. However, the staff is friendly and the food is good. Despite some service mishaps and disappointment with the environment, the live music in the evenings and attentive staff make it a pleasant spot for drinks. While some aspects exceed expectations, such as the professional service and bar snacks, drawbacks like the lackluster decor and cleanliness of the toilets prevent it from being an ideal choice for a luxurious experience.
We visit every few months and usually love this place, but think we caught them on a bad day. Food was just OK, but air con wasn’t on, took ages to be welcomed and seated and there were only 2 other groups of diners. I wanted to use some Harvey Nic rewards I have earned there but was told it was not possible, and the member of staff was annoyed that I thought I could.
I enjoyed my time at Harvey Nichols however the service was slow. We had one drink and we were waiting a long time for a waiter to come over and were just about to leave. I also don’t like the mandatory service charge just for drinks. They are expensive enough without having to pay 15% on top of the bill.
Not impressed with service or choice of food options. Won't return
No complaints just a peaceful ambience and good cocktails food
We love coming here as a lovely treat. The service is both professional and friendly. The bar staff keep an eye on everyone and are very attentive. I can't comment on the food as we only came for drinks, but we did get a free bowl of nibbles The only potential fly in the ointment was that Open Table had not forwarded our booking onto Harvey Nichols 5th Floor Bar, which the waiter said sometimes happens with Open Table bookings. Fortunately it wasn't an issue and he managed to find us a nice table.
