Had incredible experience starting from the welcoming until the end. We had a lovely waiter Louta serving us and we was very knowledgeable and delivered great energy. All dishes were very flavourful though must Crab linguine was the gem. Also special praises to sweet potato fries, best I’ve ever had. Also massive compliments to Pastry Chef as sweet bun and deserts were outstanding. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The food was not great the sea bass didn’t taste great. It was undercooked and not filled with flavour. I would say they don’t know what African flavour is and the food definitely doesn’t represent it. The only dish that tasted good was the sweet potatoes. When the waiter asked how everything is I said to him the sea bass was not great at all. All he said back is thank you and literally proceeded with the payment. Spent over £130. The atmosphere was mid nothing special and we couldn’t get a better view because of were we was setted. The waiters even made us wait and decided to take the four people that came before us. Instead of us who have booked and have two people. Overall if you have money that you don’t mind going down the drains then this the spot for you. I would not recommend and would ask for refund if I could but the waiter didn’t care about my opinion just cared about the money. Quit disguising to say the least. We visited Sky Garden during our trip to London, and overall, it was a nice experience with absolutely stunning views — definitely worth seeing if you’re in the city. The ambiance was great, and the space itself is beautiful. However, the service left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, our waitress, Jada, provided very poor service. She barely checked on us throughout the evening. We waited over 20 minutes for our drinks, and when we asked about them, she casually said, “they’re coming up” — it was obvious she had forgotten. Only after we asked did she remember and eventually bring them. We also requested ice, which was never brought to our table despite a reminder. Considering we were a large group and spent a significant amount of money, the service was extremely disappointing. The food and drinks were just okay — not memorable for the price. Again, the views are what made the experience worthwhile, but the lackluster service definitely took away from what could have been a much more enjoyable evening. General consensus OK! It’s an upscale restaurant on top of a tourist attraction. Expect a lengthy entry process with security. Food was nice actually but definitely overpriced. Felt like we were paying for the upscale “experience” more than the food taste. Service was good and staff was nice and friendly. Had a birthday cake to celebrate my father’s bday, was told that we would be charged £12.50 per person as “we won’t be ordering dessert”. We ended up getting two mediocre desserts off the menu to have this “fee” waived. The lengths this restaurant goes to squeeze that extra cash out of an already pricy bill is to be applauded! The owner will definitely be proud. Mock tails were mediocre. It’s a one in a lifetime experience which is nice to have but won’t see ourselves coming back in the future (especially as we were seated in a position with a terrible view of the city, felt like any other restaurant instead of a “sky garden” . Attached are a few photos of the food. Meats and fish were cooked beautifully and the starters were really nice but the fusion of Indian flavours for the mains was not the way to go in my opinion.
