Unfortunately an awful experience. Lamb chops initially came out cold (frozen.. once re heated the meat was clearly off. Although the flies seemed to enjoy it. Should have stuck to pizza. Very disappointing. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1
Genuine Italian food, drinks, desserts, pizza, everything. Really liked it. There's plenty of room inside and a backdoor patio as well. I had their seafood pasta it was quite good. Service was very kind. Service: Dine in Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We came here as we like the deli next door as they have great ingredients there but sadly they are not connected. We had probably had the worst Italian meal ever. Had a spaghetti carbonara and the guanciale was burnt so tainted the dish. When I pointed it out the waitress said she will tell the chef but nothing was done, they were disinterested. The pizza was so poor and totally undercooked to the point where the cheese wasn’t fully melted., perhaps they were saving on electricity . They only had two other tables eating and that should have been a good clue for a Friday evening unfortunately we missed that. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
When we arrived, we discovered that half of the menu items were unavailable. The food was overpriced and just average. I ordered a ribeye steak, which was satisfactory but not exceptional. It's a pity because our experience in August was much better.
We started with olives, but initially, they told us they didn’t have any. Oddly enough, they found some after we had finished our meal and then mistakenly charged us for them. The waitress was friendly, but she struggled to open the wine and ended up breaking the cork. While the simple, rustic Italian food was decent, it didn’t justify the price. We ordered no starters; I had pesto linguine with a side salad, and my wife had pork in lemon sauce with fries. Including the wine, our bill came to just under £70. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
