Delicious, authentic inexpensive food. It's basic decor inside but the food is the star attraction here. An assortment of people eat in here, hippy and city types. It's perfect if you have an hour or so to kill whilst waiting for a train st nearby London Eudton. View all feedback.
What sandeep a doesn't like about Diwana Bhel Poori House:
A value for money eatery gone downhill since COVID. The last time we visited with family in 2019, the food, service was superb. In 2022 however, the picture was different, either you have buffet or set meals and based on your choice, you and your whole party can decide where to sit. This is a deal breaker as this didn't exist in 2019 and the current management thinks one buffet can feed off their company, in which is... View all feedback.
Actually it was wrong here. had to go to the restaurant chapel road indian veg, which is quite different. this place where the waiters were friendly and loyal, but as others have said, I found eating a little bland. there were no curries.
Service was quick and friendly. Food was a little under whelming but considering how cheep it is I guess it's ok. I found everything to be a bit bland and watery. I wouldn't recommend it for a special occasion/ treat, But fine for a cheep dinner.
My friend and I decided to try this place while waiting to catch a train from Euston. It was a 2 minute walk from the station, so very handy location. It was around 7pm on a Thursday and the restaurant was packed, but luckily the waiter squeezed us on to a spare side table which was nice of him. We both ordered the thali of the day', which I think cost us £7 each. This consisted of daal, potato pea curry, basmati rice, side salad and 3 roti's. The food was delivered to us quickly. Everything was nice, and seemed quite healthy. The flavours weren't amazing, but a very similar style to the other indian places in this area. I prefer this home cooking style to the usual rich, oily, deep fried tendencies of a lot of Indian restaurants in the UK. It was every day food as opposed to special occasion food. The only part of the meal I would say was exceptional were the rotis, they were cooked to perfection. Be warned, they don't have a license but you can take your own bottle. An opportunity we sadly missed. Would go again if waiting for a train, but would take a bottle too ;
Really nice restaurant with sitting outside. nice eating and so many vegan options.
Vegan options on menu and happy, not vegan options to change for customers. all very tasty and cheap.
