Contribute FeedbackThe Devonshire Pub in Balham offers a mix of experiences, from a pricey but spacious beer garden with a summer BBQ to a disappointing New Year's Eve celebration. The Sunday roast was a hit, but vegan options were lacking. The pub's gourmet food and pleasant atmosphere make it worth the walk from the station, though it lacks the lively vibe found at other Balham spots. The staff's friendliness and efficiency are a highlight, with special mentions for excellent service and a trivia night. Overall, The Devonshire Pub offers a solid pub experience with room for improvement in certain areas.
Re visited the Devonshire last night on a crawl of Balham's pubs. This pub has a nice feel to it it's relaxed, good crowd, friendly bar staff and really...
Three dimensional vibes. A lovely fairy lit courtyard. But to be real, and what keeps me coming back for more, is their iconic soy decaf espresso martini....
HUGE pub! The size inside was incredible, and there's a back garden big enough for even more people, complete with a bbq that served up some great options....
Best new years eve ive ever had. cheap booze,. fabulous early music, oddly positioned fairy lights, and minor celebrities from Shipwrecked. what more could you ask! the perfect way to see in and i could walk home via chicken cottage.result!
Had a frecher drink here last night and was very impressed by the interior and exterior of the massif and so well designed. the berries that ran out of the outdoor bbq were also mouthwatering, have to return to the near future to try them out. also friendly bar staff were quick to cop that they had given me £5 back instead of £10 and were very apologetic.
