This was our first visit and Fabio was the perfect host and everything was just perfect so highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back for sure.

After reading all the positive reviews, we had hoped for a warm welcome from Fabio and the team. However, this seemed like a totally different place to what had been written in previous reviews from others.. We had to prompt the staff to take our drinks order and food orders after waiting for an extended amount of time. No mention of the specials for the day. There was no attempt at offering another bottle of wine after the first one was poured out between 6 at the start of the meal. We would of course have ordered another one or two if they had asked, but after having to prompt the staff to place our orders beforehand and their lack of attention, we couldn’t be bothered. The food was placed on the table in silence. There was no attempt at any friendly chat or interaction. It was really weird!! The food was itself was good, but not outstanding. It was fairly priced which was a merit. It’s a real shame we didn’t have the experience that others have mentioned as we love to support the local businesses. Honestly the experience was just a bit strange, no one that worked there seemed to be enjoying themselves and it just felt really awkward. I hope this was just an “off day” and we were just unlucky, but I don’t know if we will go here again.

We recently had a lovely meal at Connubio da Fabio, it was perfect for catching up with a friend, good food and good wine. There are wines matched to food and I plan to return again soon to try out some more wine!
