The restaurant is really nice. It has paintings of Malaysian attractions, so it really felt like home. The beef rendang was a bit spicy for me, but I think most Malaysians would find it perfect. The meat was cooked perfectly. The Nasi lemak was also perfectly cooked. Overall, an excellent experience and I will definitely come back here. View all feedback.
What Alex Cooper doesn't like about Chuba Rasa:
This was a meal pre a rugby match. The food was fine. Nothing special but he desserts were not as good as the main meal. The staff were very cheerful, however. Honest food at a reasonable price. View all feedback.
Been here twice in the last 6 months and both times were great. Both meals were delicious and the service is friendly and attentive.

Positiw: good service, good food, centrally located negatiw: the menu can confusing too time so better, before order check this place is located directly on the road on the main road of twickenham and is easy to find. the place is run by a few ladies in Malaysia and understand the kitchen. the kitchen is not authentic Malaysian, but a mix of south indian and Malaysian, the decor this place is quite simple and nothing imaginative they have made good use of the space available without it cramped I ordered some prawn starter and it was very well cooked, it was hot and the prawn tasted wonderful, the batter was not too spawny and the cuddy...
After seeing fabulous reviews about this restaurant, which was described as fine dining cafe we thought we would give it a go. We were so disappointed. We usually check the food hygiene rating but didn't for this. Whilst there we found it only had a 2 hygiene rating which was very off putting. It is definitely not a fine dining more like home cooking. Staff were friendly. We ordered 3 chicken dishes and all were generous portions, we are not keen on fish, but unfortunately the chicken dishes smelt and tasted strongly of fish. Some people might like this, it is Malaysian but for us it was too much.
Good Malaysian homestyle cooking. We went before an international rugby match for a quick lunch
