Cafe Rouge, Wimbledon Village - London

Great area at the back for a large family get together.

We walked into a relatively empty restaurant. When the drinks eventually arrived the waitress spilt them all over our table and clothes no offer of compensation. Food took 1hr 20mins to arrive, and no explanation or apology. A disappointment.

I visit this Restaurant quite often and always find the food excellent and the staff very amenable.

Went there with work colleagues. Food, wine, atmosphere was good. The only concern was when the waitress spilled a drink over one of us. Although she was very apologetic and cleaned it up, there was no offer of a discount or offer to foot the dry cleaning bill, so we didn't pay the service charge.

I was suprised by the very low level of customer service provided. Basically I felt I was not welcome and eventually moved to another reataurant where I received the expected level of customer service. This is just sad as I am French and liked Cafe Rouge before this experience. Try another Cafe rouge but avoid this one.
