Bustling open plan local restaurant offering Portuguese (Madeira) specialities which we were unfamiliar with but thoroughly enjoyed, the food is expertly cooked, seared tuna just right and prawns thoughtfully descaled, enjoyed my bacalahu main and pork and clam stew full of flavour, don't miss the croquettes and the garlic bread is worth it if you have room. Interesting range of mimosas although I preferred the drink... View all feedback.
What Leni Binder doesn't like about Caco & Co:
Really good food and a good authentic Portuguese menu. Not a great destination and only been open a couple of months so they hopefully will learn about getting an ambience right. View all feedback.
I really cozy place where the service is perfect and eating is absolutely delicious! I recommend this place!
Another excellent meal at caco co! delicious food, incredible fried polnta! the personal is wonderful as always.
Great restaurant and delicious food. a lot of time and thoughts have gone to boil here. it was quiet when we were here on a Friday night, but when we tried to eat, we couldn't understand why it wasn't more business! a great foundation for tasty, casual, domestic Portuguese cuisine. highly recommended.
Good selection and great service from friendly, knowledgable staff.
It's a lovely setting but very average food and service. We were there early on a Saturday night and expected more from the food based on reviews. service was not particularly attentive given how quiet it was when we arrived.
