Burger Craft @ The Exmouth Arms

Great burgers, great beer, including 2 alcohol free on the pumps. A good solid pub with friendly staff, and busy on an early Weds evening. Very happy to have stumbled across the Exeter Arms.

I usually come here for work drinks and it's ok. It does have a weary stenchy smell inside, but you get over that quickly. The food is ok, I wouldn't say the best, tots and chips are the same. Expensive for what it is.

After leaving our bags at the storage area, we decided to try the burger and chips deal for £6 at this restaurant. It was delicious and a great deal. We also enjoyed the tap water served in a jar with lemons, which was a nice touch.

Had some time to wait for train so popped in for quick pint and a burger and fries. Staff were friendly and there was decent selection of beer on tap. Had British bacon burger and fries £12.50)

Been drinking here for years, not sure they've got their covid planning right, abrasive instructions from a bar person that I should stand back from behind a screen and then another person politely serving from behind no screen just feet away?. It's all in the details and articulation people, be nice.
