We aim to go to Brawn in December as part of our traditional festive build up and we love it there.. so this was not our first time, we are returning guests. This time we were sat in the back of the restaurant near the kitchen and it was lovely, I didn’t even know this room existed. As always food was delicious, with some repeat items which are menu staples from years gone and of course new items too. We had a lovely... View all feedback.
What Sebastian Steinbach doesn't like about Brawn:
It was good but not THAT good, maybe it was the hype I felt for it before… SERVICE 5/5, just point on. Happy, easy to talk to and just really service minded. FOOD 3/5, the Agnolotti was tasteless and I wasn’t especially fond of the black pudding with octopus (didn’t play well in my view)..but then the lamb sweetbread was amazing. PRICE 3/5, just the fact that you need to pay 4,5£ for bread should render a 1/5..but ge... View all feedback.
This restaurant has a great vibe and our host Marianna was brilliant and helpful. The starters were delicious, mains of veal and lamb incredible and the wine pairings perfect. Desert was also off the scale as a cherry tart. Highly recommended
I came here for lunch with a friend on the weekend and everything I tried was delicious. The interior is airy and lowkey, the staff are really nice, and the food lives up to the restaurant's reputation! If I had to pick one snack/lunch item to recommend, it would be the fried baby squid (and I'm not usually a big fan of seafood! .
We went with our daughter and a friend and they have a great cocktail menu and a pretty nice wine list. The menu was fun with snacks, appetizers, main course and of course dessert!. We enjoyed the trout, pasta among other dishes and we cleaned our plates!
This restaurant is absolutely surprises you. As so amazing and interesting combination of the food. The menu is changed every month. Try Burrata with peaches and Honeymoon Melon with Tomato. The fish was great as well and the chocolate dessert was delicious and really interesting. The home-made kombucha was delicious, as was every other dish we had.
The food was good, the atmosphere was good as well. The biggest issue is that our waitress was snarky and condescending the entire dinner. We tried to ask questions about the menu and she was insistent on us ordering what she thought was best for us. The crescendo was when we tried to help by stacking the plates as our family owns restaurants and we were trying to help more out of habit. She proceeded to scold us saying “you should never every do that!”and then it was awkward the rest of the time. It felt like it was a local spot, and we were given a hard time because we were not locals most specifically from the specific waitress we had.
