We had the pleasure of dining at Bonne Bouffe on New Year's Eve, and it was an unforgettable evening. The staff and manager were professional, courteous, and incredibly friendly. The cocktails and wine were excellent, and the soufflé was nothing short of amazing. We really enjoyed the steak tartare for our main course. What Colin doesn't like about Bonne Bouffe:
Very enjoyable meal with good service. Authentic in that it offered only one vegetarian main course (very good) but no vegetarian starter. Perhaps this might be looked at? View all feedback.
This was our first visit to Bonne Bouffe and we shall certainly be back. Food and service excellent. Lovely ambience
We've been to Bonne Bouffe two weekends on the trot, after having not been for about a year. What were we doing? The food is great, the ambience is relaxed, but still intimate enough for a dinner a deux. We've sat at the bar, giving a great view of the goings on in the very well organised kitchen. The food is outstandings, whether your looking for hearty winter french classics (cassoulet, confit de canard) or something a little more delicate (sole, soufflet) you'll find it here. I just wish I had had enough space for the tarte tatin! Wine selection also great and the staff helped us choose something appropriate even though it was the cheapest of our options. Always a good sign! in closing we'll be back...
The menu is a little limited but that’s probably partly what allows Bonne Bouffe to be consistent with their quality. Great for couple, families etc. Thoroughly recommend
We had a lovely meal here for my Mum’s birthday, the 6-seat booth was delightful and the food delicious. No complaints except perhaps that the chips weren’t very crunchy. The puddings however were amazing. Will definitely return.
I went for lunch on a Friday (the only weekday) it is open with three friends. The restaurant was quiet (only one other table) but the food was beautifully cooked. Two of us had the beef cheek, which was the best I've had in a very long time. Another friend raved about his hake. Desserts were also very good and the service friendly. We'll certainly go again.
