Upon visiting this vibrant restaurant, guests were greeted with a lovely ambiance that set the stage for an enjoyable meal. However, many diners experienced significant service issues, including inattentive staff, mixed-up orders, and uncomfortable seating arrangements. While the food’s quality was highlighted, it often arrived lukewarm, with misunderstandings regarding dish portions. Complaints about the added service charge and a few underwhelming menu items, such as dry calamari and bland lobster mac and cheese, further tainted the experience. Overall, despite some positive elements, many patrons felt let down and expressed reluctance to return.
I use to come here quite often mostly for occasions but since moving house not so much but yesterday was really good, worth coming back, food and drinks were great as usual only issue was the calamari, it was sooo dry you could tell what you was eating as it was too crispy and lost flavour and shape not worth £9.90.! I would of opt for something else instead of the calamari as starter.
Soooo, to begin with you put 7 of us on a table for 6, sticking 1 person on the end, you could clearly see that 2 of our party had slings, that made it most uncomfortable squashed up! In my requests, I asked for downstairs and told you it was a 40th celebration. Some celebration, the girl who took the order basically got it all wrong, I asked for just the babies dinner to come out with the starters, you started to bring it all out together and then got most of it wrong, we had to put it on layman terms for you! 2 of us had to wait 20 mins longer for our starters, we then got 2 wrong mains brought out to us. Do you know what the state of the expression on the waitresses face was like we were doing something wrong! I said once before big easy has gone down hill and this has just confirmed it! Poor attitude of staff members and just an all round bad experience, we will not be back again!
Eating was and is always great here. the service would have been better.
Steak was a mass of fat and chips tasteless, appetizers nice
We love the staff, so courteous, friendly and know who we are every time we come back soon
