great location, excellent eating and service with a smile! After I have been a few paintings, I am glad that a wonderful first experience was not a fuke. the personal is friendly, helpful and quick. would certainly recommend working through a selection of smorgasbord and while I am a fan of the duck, the meatballs are also very good. What Alice Reid doesn't like about Aquavit London:
Aquavit is a grand venue and last time I went there (pre-Covid) the food was par excellence! But this time it fell short . Also for such a grand restaurant they didn't have traditional menus and one still had to be glued to a mobile phone and scan a QR code and order food ..you come to a high end restaurant to get away from phones and have a good conversation and good food. Alas food quality had deteriorated too! View all feedback.
Great eating, but not amazing. beautiful place where we had a very nice waiter. cost-effective prices and 15% service makes it a very expensive meal. they don't go back because it's a real sting on the wallet. I don't care to drink expensive places, but it must be exceptional, but this place isn't.
Excellent eating and cocktails. an inappropriate service
Average food I fear to start prawns only on toast big brandup on weep service slow, wee left on the bar and we had to ask for refills perfect ok but certainly nowhere near michelin star hoping for more imaginative and better executed food
Nice opportunity to experience Scandinavian food. Good quality but portions not very big. Table could have been cleaner. Sugar in plastic pouches. For a restaurant of this calibre would have expected a but more “style”
Great food but not amazing. Beautiful venue we had a very nice waiter. Expensive prices and 15% service makes it a very pricey meal. Won’t go back as it’s a real sting to the wallet. I don’t mind expensive places to eat drink but it has to be exceptional but this place isn’t.
