What kelsie barba dislikes about Chow-ya:
Went with 3 other people and we all got diarrhea from the food even though we ordered different things? And the ramen was literally top ramen but they charged $10 add ons for it. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 View all feedback.

I had an amazing rice bowl with a generous serving that easily allowed me to split it into two meals. Although parking can be somewhat limited in the lot, I've never had any issues finding a spot when I've gone to pick up my orders. The service was quick and efficient. I got it as takeout for lunch, and the price was approximately $10 to $20 per person.
The food was outstanding, although it was on the expensive side, which seems to be a common trend lately. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5, the service 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere 5 out of 5.

In the bustling culinary landscape, this restaurant features a mix of vibrant reviews. Diners rave about the outstanding food, especially the flavorful ramen and chicken fried rice, praising fresh ingredients and excellent service. However, some patrons have experienced inconsistent quality, with complaints about food safety and order mishaps. While the atmosphere is generally appreciated, it lacks intimacy, feeling more like a communal dining space. Despite occasional criticisms, many agree that the excellent value and generous portions make this spot worth revisiting. Overall, the establishment has potential but may need to address service and consistency to enhance the dining experience.

I've been dining here for years, and it never lets me down! The staff is consistently friendly, and the food is always delicious. They offer great vegan and vegetarian options, which I appreciate. I'm also pleased that they've expanded their menu in recent years, providing a wide variety of dishes to choose from.
We ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl, which came with rice and vegetables. We've done takeout from this place many times before, and it consistently offers great value and delicious food.
I enjoyed the fast service and will definitely be coming back for more poke! It was a simple and hassle-free takeout experience!
This review exemplifies a lukewarm assessment. It’s undoubtedly the cleanest Asian restaurant in a town lacking options. The portion sizes are generous, and the ingredients are quality. However, the food appears to struggle with its fusion identity, leaving me puzzled about whether it leans more towards Korean, Japanese, Chinese, or another indistinct style. Much of what I've tasted feels like a dish described to someone and recreated from memory. I want to enjoy it more, but it feels like something is definitely lacking.
I dined at this restaurant for the first time and had a wonderful experience. We started with the sweet potato fries, which were seasoned to perfection, and the dipping sauce paired beautifully with them. We also tried the mandu, which was good; the accompanying sauce had a nice kick, but it wasn’t overpowering. The jalapeño shrimp were impressively large and tasted fantastic—I was pleasantly surprised by their size. The ramen had flavorful beef that was just right—not too salty and had a lovely mild spice. Overall, it was a fantastic meal!
