THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE DOWNERS GROVE LOCATION, but interestingly, there are no reviews available for that site on Facebook. My husband had been a frequent customer of DG for delivery and enjoyed the food. However, when he visited the restaurant for the first time, the woman at the counter noticeably refused to serve him. Despite making eye contact and waiting politely, she chose to serve another customer who arrived moments after he did. We are left puzzled as to why he was ignored; the only difference he noticed between himself and the other customers was his race. He attempted to contact them via email, but without a response, we remain in the dark about why he was treated this way.

The food was mediocre, but the worst part is that I got food poisoning from the torta de milanesa de res I ordered. It was really terrible. The dish was prepared too quickly as well. Being Mexican myself, I honestly prefer La Rosita; it’s a thousand times better and truly represents authentic Mexican cuisine.

Absolutely disgusting! never go to this place! I waited for a friend and I saw a hired man coming out of the back door and the puke? over the parking lot. never ever go here! so if they only imagine sick in the inner what is in the food!. never again!
