Nice little brunch place in the yorktown mall. Sometimes there is a wait so its best to go online and get put on the wait list. They have all the traditional breakfast items, and a healthy side of the menu also. I haf a breakfast burrito which did not disappoint. It was stuffed with eggs, onions, red peppers and sausage served with green salsa and sour cream, comes with hash browns or fruit and toast or pancakes...16... View all feedback.
What Leena Suleiman doesn't like about Honey Berry Pancakes And Cafe:
Unfortunately the food was not good. Barely any flavor in anything. The hash browns were crisp on top but soggy on the bottom. Eggs Benedict were over cooked, Hollandaise sauce barely had flavor. There’s better turkey bacon out there. My child didn’t like the grilled cheese, neither did I. The fries were delicious though. The staff were all friendly. Stars are for staff and ambiance. I started coming to this location when I started working in the mall just over a year ago. I came for the first time on my birthday and can’t stop getting it for lunch when I’m working. The food is delicious and fresh and the sweet potato fries are amazing. Highly recommend for a change in scenery from ihop and Denny’s
I noticed this place when I was in the mall the day before. I have to say this mall has completely changed since I was here years ago. I looked them up online and they sounded like a good place for breakfast and I was hoping to get in at least one good breakfast while traveling. I arrived in the morning about an hour after they had opened and the tricky part for me was getting a parking space where I wouldn't have to walk too far because of the setup of the lot. I walked in and there was absolutely no one around but I only had to wait a moment before the host came out of the back and seated me. They gave me a menu and asked if I wanted any coffee or anything. I told him I needed a moment because the menu was bigger than I had expected. There were so many interesting items on the menu and I wasn't sure what to get. Bean is that I really can't eat potatoes anymore I bypassed several items that I would normally order. I finally decided to spoil myself and settled on their Chocolate Brioche French Toast. They top it with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and chocolate sauce. They use Magic Shell on the ice cream itself and there is also whipped cream with it. Be warned that this is an extremely rich and dense meal. I have to say that was probably about the best French toast I have ever had. To cut some of the sweetness I also got a side of their applewood smoked bacon. I also got apple juice to drink. I couldn't quite finish all of French toast but this was probably one of the best breakfasts I have had in many many years. The meal was not cheap but I felt it was worth it in the end.I was a bit disappointed that I was the only one dining when I was there. When I left a few more people came in. I consider this to be a hidden gem at this point and I would definitely have breakfast here occasionally if I still lived in the area. The waitress was friendly and attentive and I also had a visit from I believe the manager and she was quite nice and made sure I had everything and that I was enjoying my meal. If you are in the area give this one a try.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of accessible spaces and entrance
Yum! I will be back again. I loved how there was a patio and it is dog friendly. I tried the blueberry danish pancakes and the south western benedict. The pancakes were delicious, I did wish they put more of the cream filling and blueberry sauce in-between each pancake. The south western benedict was on point on the flavor profile, my only critique was I wished the pico de gallo was cut into smaller pieces.
Amazing breakfast spot. Benedicts are on point. The chilaquiles was so good. Their verde sauce is *chef’s kiss*. We also got a side of pancakes and I’ll definitely be back to try the banana cream pie pancakes!
