Well, make the Chinese square. Large portions, especially for lunch combination. The general Tso's chicken is all white meat, crispy and not too heavy on bread. If you want it spicy, I would recommend asking for extra sharp. My standard Oak Brook area for fast Chinese food. View all feedback.
Great service! Very fast and friendly. They accommodated my additions to the entree I ordered. Fresh ingredients and very flavorful.
I thought the food was just okay, the egg rolls were so salty that I had to throw them away, it was like someone dropped a whole box of salt in them.
I'm still in search for amazing take-out in the "VALley" (Villa Park, Addison, Lombard area) and I find China Star just OK.
I do not often leave a review for a business unless our experience is really bad or really good. Well, China Star is very good! Over the past few months, we have made 4 family-sized purchases and have been surprised. We noticed. The dinner shrimps are much bigger and more numerous than the competition, the beef is tender and not chewing, and the chicken has a beautiful texture and is not gum-like like other... The portions are generous and even contain cartons in your togo bags to keep your bagged dinner stable. A nice detail. China Star is MUCH better than the other place in Villa Park also on Roosevelt.
