Was Kayleigh Hoppe at Café Niedlich a mag?
View all feedback.

What Patricia Fouquet dislikes about Café Niedlich:
View all feedback.

It is one of the most popular and well-known cafes on the whole of Rügen. The view of the Baltic Sea from there, unique. Whether tourist, locals or celebrity – there was always something going on in the Cafè Niedlich in Lohme. Earlier. Because the popular cult restaurant on Rügen has closed since Sunday (16 October). Not only temporary for business holidays, inventory or illness, no, forever. And the guests who regularly enter and leave there are even harder. In 2008, Annett and Rainer fought victorious against the closure of their small cafes. Because of a slope slide, the place on a steep coast should be closed. Too large was the risk of further sacking, the authorities reasoned the decision. But the couple successfully fought against the decision and opened the doors of the café. Well, about 14 years later, a shooting can no longer be turned off. But this time it is a personal decision of the operators. Rainer Siewert has reached retirement age, reports the “Ostsee Zeitung”. And because Anett had promised her husband to stop, if he can't stop, it was now with the Cafè Niedlich. It is “permanently closed”, says the couple, after 28 years. Actually, the couple wanted to hand over their restaurant to another operator, but the negotiation had not yet achieved a result. For the guests of the Cafès bad news. Over the years, countless tourists also visited many celebrities. Among them are Günther Jauch, Carmen Nebel and former finance minister Hans Eichel. Soljanka according to original GDR recipe, apple strudel with ice and Swedish ice cups were until recently the permanent burners on the map of the Cafè Niedlich. The unique view of the port and the Baltic Sea is now also prevented. Many regulars are sad. The fact that the cafe now closes is “very bad”. There are already a few restaurants on site. Besides, it's a pity about the view. The hope for a successor remains. found by: [here link]
