We went to have some wine and when it was time to pay they told me I had to pay in cash, and I suggested two things: (1) put a sign up somewhere saying so, so c... read more We went to have some wine and when it was time to pay they told me I had to pay in cash, and I suggested two things: (1) put a sign up somewhere saying so, so customers are informed previously and can decide if they can go to this bar or not; (2) get some card machines ASAP. The waitress replied saying: “tell my manager”, which, apart from being useless to me as I dont know who the manager is, was quite a rude response (she could have apologised to start with). So this is a message for the manager: “Dear sir/madam, buy card machines for your bar as soon as possible”.

It is a very traditional pintxos bar, with a simple offering of 3 types of pork skewers cooked in front of you on hot coals, and wine and beer by the glass. We really appreciated the lady at the bar explaining the different skewers in English to us. They were delicious! Lovely smokey taste from the coals. We tried the paprika and garlic one and the iberico one. We also had some excellent crianza by the glass. Whole lot came to €8 total so excellent value for the 2 of us! Definitely worth a visit on a pintxos crawl.
