South Moon Bbq - Logan County

So am from Wisconsin this was amazing food. I got to say this place is cool in side. I had the half rack of ribs and it was a different flavor then am use too it was amazing and baked bean were nothing I have even tasted it was good. You have to stop here for food for sure

Reminds me of Shenanigans, ya know. That place with all goofy stuff on the walls and the mozzarella sticks. But with pretty good BBQ instead.

We ordered the pulled pork sandwich $6.95), brisket sandwich $9.95), and Mac and cheese $2.95). The brisket was really good and was not as fatty as some others I’ve had. The portions were good, but sauces were mediocre. They have a really good selection of alcoholic beverages and their customer service was great. The only let down was the Mac and Cheese. They didn’t have fried pickles due to supply issues, which is understandable, so we got the Mac and cheese instead. It didn’t taste like Ma … – show

Best Ribs around!!! Friendly service. Great atmosphere.

This is simply the best Barbeque you will find in Illinois including Chicago. The food is plentiful and savory. The seasoning and sauce is outstanding. The ribs were perfection. Wide array of alcoholic drinks is a plus. Katie and Staff greet you as you enter and treat you like family. I drive over 2 hours to come to this place and its never disappointed me. Simply Heaven Barbeque.
