Dairy Star is always the go to ice cream place in the Chicago area! The staff are always friendly and patient with everyone trying to figure out what to order. Whatever you order is always prepared quickly and with a degree of care. The prices are great for the quality of ice cream and serving size. Dairy Star's large menu of customizable treats is guaranteed to have something for everyone. Be prepared to wait in line if you come on a weekend, as well as possibly not having a place to sit.

Amazing ice cream. Many delicious options. They even have non-dairy soft serve. Will be back many times.

Meh, I didn’t like it so much. I don’t understand the rush tbh. I’ve tried their cones both sugar and waffle. I’ve had the vanilla, chocolate and strawberry all of it and the flavor is lacking. I’ve tried multiple other concoctions here but, this store isn’t it. I gave 2 star because price is fair for the quantity and service is nice.

Ice cream before summer end… Dipping ice cream and it is really light taste, i usually not like ice cream from US.. Coz too heavy after eat them. But this place it was really good. Only thing is this place is far from my homeeeee.
