A little Japanese gem hidden in a Sunnybank food court. This was a new addition in at the Little Taipei food court and surprisingly, one of the best Japanese food we've had at an extremely reasonable prices! Other than their nice ramen, they also do very satisfying bentos, so great choice for a meal when you are on a budget and don't feel like cooking. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ren Express:
Good is delicious, but strong portion sizes. The fried rice I got was only 3/4 full when I got it home, and salads are usually cabbage with a few extras. I appreciate the food, but for the price, portion sizes should be bigger. . View all feedback.

The thing I love about this place is the value for food. This beats Motto Motto at Garden City and Hakayata Ramen fans. The owner is Japanese and there is a range of 4 broths to choose from, I have tried all four of ramen including extra noodles :) With the bento boxes, I have a huge fan of sahimi and to add that to the bento box, that excites me! :)I keep coming again and again.
Surprised to find a delicious ramen (I had spicy miso) in a food court Xiao Tai Bei (above Asian supermarket). Free extra noodles. Price is reasonable because of its location (food court). It is a good alternative place for a yummy ramen without the queue. The slices of cha siu could be more (only 2-3 thin slices). Lovely authentic golden gluey yolk for the hard boiled egg.
Next on our Japanese in Brisbane bucket list was Ren Express, hidden in the Little Taipei food court at Market Square. To be honest, I don't really go here often, as I opt for grabbing meals at Yakitori or Hot Star from Market Square. Nevertheless, having just eaten hotpot at Yakitori the day before, when our friends asked us for a catch up, my second preference as to try Ren Express.
The miso is very flavorful and the ramen is affordable. It is a great new addition to the current ramen restaurants in the area.
