We went to this nice, bright eatery for dinner and really enjoyed it. The Sang Choi Bao and the Quail were very tasty. Our mains of Broken Rice and Pork Vermicelli Salad were fresh and tasty. It is a great sign for a restaurant when a lot of Vietnamese people are eating here. The service was friendly and efficient. We can't wait to go back. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pho Ha Long Restaurant:
Used to eat here a lot but recently the service at this restaurant is going down rapidly. Staffs look like they are overworked and just want to go home. Twice they forgot one item on our order list and then all they did in compensation is saying 'Oh we're sorry thatwe forgot to make your food, can you wait for another 15 mintues for it?'Otherwise, good Vietnamese food with authentic place. Probably the best pho I have had in Gold Coast chunks of tendons and briskets. Definitely paying for what is worth. Didn't feel too thirsty either after downing the whole bowl of soup/ pho. Would definitely recommend The only down side is the paid parking available next to the restaurant unless you go eat there after 5pm.
This is the best Pho I have ever tried. I have been to a few other places, but none compare to the delicious flavors served here. The only downside is that the restaurant is a little cramped and can get quite crowded. Some of the servers can be rude and occasionally forget orders, resulting in long wait times. Despite these issues, the tasty food keeps me coming back for more, especially when dining with my family.
Cheap, quick, authentic Vietnamese food. Pho is pretty good..broth is a tad salty. Had the crispy chicken soup which was also very nice..the soup broth is lighter than pho but still very flavorful. They also serve non-Vietnamese items (i.e. Mongolian beef) which I did not order this time around however it looked and smelled amazing. I'm not sure if it's my new regular but I would definitely not hesitate to eat here next time I'm in Sunnybank.
The standard of this placed has dropped big time! The pho bowls just taste like a whole heap of msg and salt ! Absolutely disgusting! The beef also tasted old!
